Account Manager – Consumer PR – £35k+
A wonderful agency full of energy and buzz with an exceptional client base is looking for a new Account Manager to join them. This will be the first of a number of hires in Q3 and Q4.
You’ll join the Comms Department, a thriving division of a new breed of agency that is both integrated yet specialist, earned and paid across all channels. With decades of multi-channel creative experience, their team works with many of Europe’s leading household and disrupter brands as well as across global purpose driven campaigns.
Based in a great location near Clapham, they offer hybrid working x3 days in, opportunity to work abroad 2 weeks a year, plus a host of other enticing benefits along with a competitive salary.
Day to day:
- Work closely with their writers and publicity team to develop stories, long form copy and releases that fly in the media
- Work as part of the communications team to grow brands through a range of PR tools such as news items, press releases, case studies, news generation, features and product placement
- Take responsibility for planning media strategy [with support from your Account Director] and delivering on output – on time and in budget
- Be day to day contact for client’s media or account management enquiries
- Provide commentators and product or company information to the media (newspapers, magazines, radio, television and online news sites)
Your experience:
- An agency native, you are comfortable working across a diverse client portfolio
- Enjoys media relations, writing and creative input
- Experience of working with integrated colleagues
- Excel at client and project management
- Experience of managing junior team members and bringing them on
